In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, many organizations spent heavily on cybersecurity, whether on tools or individuals and businesses are changing. By 2022, 200 billion devices and things or objects — cars, phones, home appliances, medical equipment, and manufacturing machinery — are expected to talk to each other over the Internet of Things and the Industrial Internet of Things. The global number of cybercrime damages during the current year 2021 is expected to reach about 6 trillion dollars.

The way business and government transactions are conducted has changed, and these activities now depend on an interconnected network of digital infrastructures called cyberspace. There are many things that allow criminals and hackers to infiltrate, corrupt, sabotage, theft, and more — and they are constantly increasing all the time, so we must work to reduce our vulnerabilities to these threats before they are exploited to harm digital systems that support the vital infrastructure of our country and make sure That such disruptions in cyberspace are rare, can be controlled in the shortest possible time, and cause the least possible damage. The global number of cybercrime damages during the current year 2021 is expected to reach about 6 trillion dollars.

The cost of security has become a major focus in an effort to manage costs and ensure business and security priorities are aligned. Companies are automating large parts of their cyber functions by creating digital risk management processes to ensure that they rise to the top of the organization’s business and operating strategies, so the business viewpoint must be integrated along with the cybersecurity team’s perspective, identifying the risk scenarios that should drive these. The company. The process will be more effective if it’s linked with a model that enables business leaders to better understand the impact of security controls on these risk scenarios. Many companies do not consistently obtain this insight, which makes it difficult to form a seamless, continuous relationship between controls and the business. Securing the digital space is a very difficult strategic challenge that requires a coordinated and focused effort from our entire society, government, private sector, and individuals, so citizens must be involved in securing the process of securing cyberspace, in addition to that, the electronic risk gap must be bridged and institutions can realize the promises and the full value of new technologies, it’s a decisive opportunity in the current era.

Emerging technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics can help bolster an organization’s traditional cybersecurity efforts; but these technologies will not eliminate the need for human experts. The cornerstone of the cybersecurity strategy is the permanent and continuous partnership between the public and private sectors. Therefore, we call on the government to establish and participate in partnerships between the public and private sectors to implement this strategy. The vital infrastructure of our nation consists of public and private institutions in the sectors of agriculture, energy, food, water, public health, information, services, government, emergency factories, communications, transportation, banks, chemical, and hazardous materials, and shipments, so the proper functioning of cyberspace is necessary for the security of our economy and our nation.

New partnerships are needed, technology is an opportunity, not a threat, and cybersecurity is the main factor in business empowerment, in addition to Institutions in order to raise awareness of risk scenarios that must be put in place, what are the most appropriate controls, and they must also explore the automation of their digital processes and risk management. Enterprises require clearly articulated, active information security policies and programs to audit compliance with cybersecurity best practices. Finlay, thought patterns must be changed and awareness among citizens in general about promoting a culture of cybersecurity, companies must be encouraged to integrate cybersecurity, and digital cybersecurity is considered a comprehensive national priority.
